2022 Project Updates
The City has been hard at work, from app launches, software upgrades to processes enhancements:
- All parking meters were upgraded to be 5G and upgrades to the Park915 app for a contactless parking experience continues to serve the community.
- Electronic plan review program for the Planning & Inspections department
- Increased in contactless online/phone payments for the Municipal Court department from 38.5% to 53.3%, virtual/hybrid hearing offered for trial, arraignments
- Increased number of personal device assistance (PDA) devices for motor officers accessing e-tickets
- El Paso Police Departments first secure messaging system (SMS) to meet SB 944 requirements implemented March 2022
- Streamlined online bidding system
- Centralized service request system for employee requests
- Online job exams
- Digital onboarding and offboarding processes
- Automated performance management system
- Augmented Reality (AR) developments
