The City of El Paso (CoEP) is the 22nd largest city in the U.S. with over 700,000 residents and is located at the U.S./Mexico border across our sister city, Ciudad Juárez, the 8th largest city in Mexico with over 1.5M habitants and over 2.5M in their metro area. This presents unique challenges as people commute daily to work, study, shop, and live, sometimes even multiple times a day, walking, biking, or driving. Some of these challenges include technology literacy and accessibility, in addition to language barriers. Although our focus is with our residents, many efforts include our visitors as well.
